Hello,

I have excel file with aircraft engine data (date, time, EGT & CHT for 6 cylinders, fuel flow and manifold pressure), eg 16 columns and about 6000 lines.

Example of two lines:
06.16.2012 14:42:36 1360 1398 1402 1395 1385 1347 301 291 281 288 280 200 164 235
06.16.2012 14:42:48 1361 1397 1402 1396 1385 1347 302 292 282 289 280 201 164 235

How can I automate the action:
separate every day's flight data (using dates from the first column) and put them on separate sheets (also renaming them) and then create a line chart for all of them?

Hi Alars,

Have you considered the autofilter option? Filter on a specific date, select the filtered data and hit the create graph button. Select you desired graph type and hit finish.

Best regards,
Trowa

Yes I've tried that but since there are ca 80 different dates which means 80 different charts then I thoughed maybe there is a way to automate the action.

In that case, can you upload your workbook to a site like www.speedyshare.com or ge.tt with at least one graph. This way I know what you are aiming for.
