I have had a look through the other questions and responses, but they don't really help. Using Office 2010, I would like to apply a formula to a range of cells, that will add up the number of red, green or orange cells, and display this as a SUM in another cell. The cells that I am 'counting', have conditional formatting formulas in them which relate to other spreadsheets within my workbook. The colour of the cells will alter depending on the information in the source spreadsheet, and instead of me putting a number in each cell and then adding up these numbers using a SUM formula, which I would need to manually alter each time a cell colour changes, I would like it to occur automatically when the source data is amended. HELP.
