i have a problem with my CQ62 laptop.when i connect the adaptor,there is no power light at the power jack.but i tried connecting my phone through USB and it started charging.the adaptor is working. please help

Most probably your computer where you put the ac adaptor is broken sorry to say but i think so.

The computer charging light will not come right.

exactly.there is no light n when i connected a USB to my phone it started charging meaning power is getting to the machine

Obviously there is power in the machine if its starts up that does not mean that the laptop charges look at your bar and see if your laptop is charging or not you should know where you see how much battery you have left and if its charging right?

the battery is dead n i use my machine like a desktop.i mean i must connect my adapter to power outlet so that i can start up the machine
