I am running Windows 7 ultimate, and recently all my browsers stopped working, Chrome, IE, and Firefox. I can ping sites, and use trace route to sites but my browsers continue to say "this web page not available" "error code: ERR_NAME _RESOLUTION_FAILED".

Well, I turned off windows firewall, and my anti virus with no results. I have ran Malwarebites as well as TDSSkiller with no change. I am still able to ping and trace route to sites, but browsers still don't work.

Hello,
Try this 1
1) Click on Start --> In search bar, type cmd. Run --> Type cmd .
When the command prompt option appears in the search list, right-click on it
and select the option "Run as administrator". "Command Prompt" will be opened.
Now enter the below command.
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
Press "Enter".
2) If the problem still exists then ping www.google.com in the command prompt. Note down its IP.
Open browser and type the Google IP and press Enter. Let me know if you are able to open the Google webpage using its IP.
Good Luck
