My pc switchs off wen i plug a usb

my pc switchs off when plug anything on the usb port and when remove it then it restart on it own and i'did have a problem with the power supply at 1st it was just swicthing off on its but now i think it fixed itself.please help coz i cant eve use my modem

Re-install or update your USB drivers. If that doesn't work replace your power supply.
