Not detection my kingston 8gb micro sd card

either my computer nor my mobile (noki n8) is not detecting my kingston 8gb micro SDHC 4 memory card. when I ask to some people they said it will not be work out and u can't get back the data in it. i'l loose my valuable data if it is not detected by computer or mobile.. is there any software which recovers the data. pls, help me in this regard
