My PC does not detect my hpv165w pendrive.

I had recently formatted my pc and updated windows but am not able to view my pen drive on my computer and device manager. It also does not show up on disk manager and there is no icon for it in the notification area.

I am able to hear the sound which my system makes when a usb device is connected and there is no pop up for scanning the hardware.

The pen drive works fine with my friends laptop and the pen drive shows up as a boot device on my pc as well.

All other usb devices such as mouse, game pad are detected perfectly. My OS is windows 7 64 bit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try to put it in all the ports or let it to install or restart ur pc
