CD/DVD DRIVE WILL NOT APPEAR IN WINDOWS EXPLORE

hi,
i am using windows xp, just a day before i unplug my cd/dvd drive from my computer. after i will plug the cd/dvd the drive will not appear the explore but it shows in boot priority option but i acanot load any bootable cd's. i will try the all options in regeistery values and wires are pluged correctly. but still i cant view the drive in explore and device manager also. pls any one help to solve this problem

If you are using a IDE cable and drive. Then, the jumpers need to be set so that one drive is "master" and the other drive is "slave". It sounds like you have two Master drives.

the solution i found when im restore the system default in "wise registry cleaner" on system tune up tab. after restarting the system the drive detected automatically. try this for solve ur problem..... thank u....
