how can I sum only specific cells together?

Column A - Regions
Marche

Lombardia

Trentino-Alto Adige
Sardegna
Molise
Campania
Sicilia
Piemonte
Lombardia
Calabria
Sicilia
Calabria

Column B - Sales

I need in B70 to get only the sales for f.e. Lombardia.
Who can help me?

your region names have an unnecessary space at the end. this gives probklem

try this formula

=SUMPRODUCT((TRIM(A2:A17)="Lombardia")*B2:B17)
