Windows XP Prof - Login password recovery

I've read several "old" responses to this problem but I am not seeing what the "solution" says is there.

How do I recover or reset my XP login password?

The "easy" solution says ...Safe Mode...(which I understand) but then is says: "...Then (in safe mode) click Start and then click Run." My screen doesn't show those options OR I'm looking in the wrong place!

You can log on as an administrator to assign a new password to your account.


Write for user :administrator, Nothing for password (blank) and enter.
