Hi,
I would like to know how to link one column with another therefore having the second column recognise it at the same.
eg Typing a name in column A then have column B recognise that name and link the birth date with it in the next column.
Is this possible?

not clar.
if you have one sheet containing names and date of birth then in another sheete it is possible if type a name the date of ibirthof tat name comes in the next column same row
sheet1
name dob
aaa 1/1/2000
bbb 31/8/1989
this is source sheet
in sheet if you type aaa in A2 you can get dob in B2
