Hello, what function would I use to extract just the city name from the cells below?...thanks!

Well, you have no cells! That is a poor example. Set it in an excel sheet and then we can possible assist you! Please post back!

I don't see anywhere to attach an excel document
the complete process for taking your data, and making the above sheet, took me, 5 minutes. I copied your post, and pasted it into a notepad, then saved it where i could remember where it was!
Then I opened Excel, and selected Data> Get External data> text file. Then browsed to where I saved the text file from step 3.
Viola!
