Hello,
If an external monitor is used to extend your display such items become inaccessible when the monitor is removed. To again display such items on the original monitor using Windows 7, perform the following;
1. Ensure the Icon/s for the Program/s displayed on the second monitor is/are pinned to the Taskbar.
2. Using the mouse hover the cursor over the icon in question to show a pop-up mini screen of the item, move the cursor gently onto the pop-up and right-click.
3. The right-click will cause a further pop-up screen to appear and click on the Maximize option.
The display for the item should restore to the original (single) monitor. Repeat if necessary until all items have been restored.
