Dell d620 screen not getting on

My dell laptop d620 the screen is not geting on.The num lock light is geting on without flashing,the cap lock and scroll lock lights are flashing the power light is geting on also i can hear the sound of the hdd.After 2 minutes the all laptop shats down.Please any one who can help i will apreciat

This could be either a problem with:
1. screen backlight
2. inverter that supplies power to the backlight
3. data/power cable from motherboard to screen
4. power supply circuit on the motherboard

None of these things can be fixed by the average home user. I suggest you find a qualified repair shop and have them give you an estimate.
