Trouble shooting IE8

Hello,
I have encountered an error while opening a new tab in IE8. A pop up opens with an error saying

Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

And when i click on Click here link the following details are shown

AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 8.0.6001.18702 ModName: iedevtoolbar.dll
ModVer: 1.0.2189.0 Offset: 0001dd99

Yesterday I disabled XML DOM Document by navigating to Manage Add On option in Tools option of IE8 and i could open a new tab but not today.

Please help me resove this problem
