Opening a web browser in private mode is an excellent way to prevent prying eyes or outside sources from seeing what you're looking at or accessing your email account due to cookies lying around. In this short article, we will show you how to launch Internet Explorer in InPrivate Browsing mode.
From the command line:
- Open the start menu by clicking on the windows icon on the taskbar, type cmd, and press Enter
- Type iexplore.exe -private and press Enter
From Internet Explorer:
Open Internet explorer first, then once it is opened:
- Click on the Settings icon. Select Safety > InPrivate browsing to open the incognito window of Internet Explorer.
