My dell desktop time and date refuse to change

Hello, i have a dell desktop that suddenly refuse to change date and time, i cleared the cmos jumper and even change the battery to new, but all in vain, please can any one give idea on what to do.

Hang in there. Does it allow you to change , then it changes back?

Make certain your not leting make corrections for daylight savings.

yea, it allow me to change, but after changing and saving it will still remain the same.

Go to the time zone tab of your click and make certain DAYLIGHT SAVINGS isn't checked.
