Cannot see dvd driver on my laptop

hey i cannot see dvd driver on my laptop..when i insert any cds it doesnt works...whenevevr i boot my laptop then it shows dvd drive but after some time it gets disappeared...and i cannot find any option relating dvd drive in device manager..please help me..my laptop is lenovo g570 i5
