You might try using a external USB keyboard until you can find a replacement for the current one. Another option is to use the On Screen Keyboard by going to Start and typing OSK and hitting Enter.
Keyboards are very venerable to damage and/or mechanical/electrical problems. Replacement is often the only option. Replacement keyboard can be found on Ebay.
