That's up to to you but if you want just to work without any other rubbish

....I mean - would scaner work if I install only basic version? You know that original driver we speak was available only for xp, win 200 , me , 98 ...and I need to know that version is sure....Meanwhile I deeply thank you for making share knowledge- I have downloaded two versions by the way- the full is 151 MB, when basic is 2,6 MB.

Yes yes no problem

its just the extra programs that come with it "HP photosmart" stuff like that
install and try if you're not happy uninstall and install the other

It's free :-)
