First of all, any amount of static will kill you whole machine! You need to be sitting and not on carpet.
Please read about discharging static electricity!
On each end of the memory, there is a "clip". Push each clip outward, while tilting the chip forward.
WARNING THE POWER CORD SHOULD NOT BE IN THE PS AT THE TIME YOU DO THIS!
