i am using a toshiba satellite L640 . when i power on, fan starts with full speed, flash lights starts blinking and that's it nothing else happens. nothing appears on the screen, no beep sounds on pressing keys for long. Please help me out i am in serious problem. that laptop contains everything.

This looks like a motherboard problem. Perhaps the hard disk is still good and can be removed and punt in a USB adapter for use on a second computer. A local repair shop can help you with the diagnosis.
