Webcam not detected on skype's latest version for vista

I am using windows vista home edition and have downloaded skype latest version yesterday. Webcam is not detected . Can some one help me ???

Is your webcam compatible?

you will need to install the drivers for the webcam.

go to the manufacturers website for software.
