Whatsapp doesn't work with nokia xl

I m using my new nokia xl with android platform. Its working good but whatsapp doesn't work with my phone. I also download whatsapp launcher for nokia x but now it says that registration is required. I am a new user of whatsapp hardly 2 months ago I start. What can I do for this. Please give me a solution of my problem.
