Hello,

Someone in my family gave me his laptop for me to fix it but the problem is that the screen doesn't work completely. I tried plugging a VGA external screen but it still doesnt work. I've pressed FN+F4 multiple times and still nothing.

This laptop has dual graphics as an option. That should mean that you have a 2nd graphics card plugged in under a cover on the bottom of the case. You could try to disconnect that mini-video card.
