Wd my passport hdd is not getting detected

Hello,

I have westeren digital my passport 2 tb external harddisk
when i connect it to my pc its not getting detected but the light is flashing i have even tried a new cable

in devmgmt.msc under universal serial bus controller i have 7 entries all have USB symbol and are of the same grey shade

the seven entries are
Generic USB Hub
Generic USB Hub
Intel(R) 6 Series/C200 Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 1C26
Intel(R) 6 Series/C200 Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller - 1C2D
USB Mass Storage Device

what am i supposed to delete to get my hard disk up and running again
