MyPassport works on WIN8 and not recogonized on WIN7?

Hi there,
As Ambucias stated, you may need to install the drivers. Usually the drive is detected automatically by the OS, but if it doesn't happen you can install the drivers manually. You can find them in the WD web page.
In addition, you can check if you see the drive in BIOS, Device Manager (where you may see a warning sign next to the device icon, giving additional details about the issue) and Disk Management. There may be some issues with the USB ports, so I would check them all.
