Hello,

I've recently been getting a Volume Bitmap Error when I run chkdsk c: on command prompt on both my HP Probook 4320S and 4520S. Both of which seem to run fine, but I cann't figure out what is causing this error message as I've run a through scan disc on both HP Probooks.

Could somebody tell what could possibly be causing this error?

In very rare circumstances, the NTFS $MFT or $BITMAP metafiles
may become corrupted and result in lost disk space. To identify and
fix this issue, run the chkdsk /F command against the volume in
question. Toward the end of chkdsk process, you receive the
following message if the $BITMAP metafile needs to be adjusted:
Correcting errors in the master file table's (MFT) BITMAP attribute.
CHKDSK discovered free space marked as allocated in the volume
bitmap. Windows has made corrections to the file system. "

I've already ran the chkdsk /F command in command prompt, after I've reseted my HP Probook and let that command run during the startup procedure. I still get the same result when I run chkdsk in command prompt.

Here is a screenshot of the error message I get when I run chkdsk in command prompt:
