My recycling bin's not working!

i left my computer on while i was away for about ten minutes, but when i returned, i found that my recycling bin icon was blurry, and when i clicked on it, a message popped up saying windows will shut down in less than a minute. so now i cant use my recycling bin and i don't know how to fix it. if anyone does, please help!

thanks for the link bm3754, but it doesn't seem to be working for me, i cant download the thing it say's to, is there any other way of fixing my recycling bin, because a couple of days ago i clickede on my mozilla icon and the same message popped up so i think whatever it is it's spreading.
