Screen went blank when tried to change graphic properties

Hello,

I am having HP pavilion dv6 laptop. I was facing problem with screen resolution so I tried to change my graphic properties. And now I m facing a big problem of blank screen. I reboot the system.I am able to listen a startup sound but getting a blank screen.please suggest something to overcome this issue.

I suggest you boot in safe mode and try to reestablish the previous settings.
