Try using Recuva and navigate through to choose the desired media. Did the drive listed under various data recovery options.
P.S. Try connecting USB on different USB ports or computer to make sure that the drive is faulty.
If recuva didn't help, go for professional recovery software like EaseUS or Stellar Phoenix.
