Consider replacing your battery

I have Dell Vostro 1550. I am using windows 7 Ultimate. Now it is showing a cross icon on battery saying that "Consider replacing your battery"
I have format & reinstall window, I have update drivers but still is the same problem, what should I do?

Hello,

your battery is dead.

if you remove your charger you'll find your laptop will not run on battery and will turn off.

i would contact Dell, giving them the part number on the battery and order a replacement.
