Sir,
I have compaq Presario CQ 40 laptop. the Webcame was working properly before but now it is not working as i am opening the You Cam 5 software an option is displayed that the webcame is unpluged and need to plugging in such like message is shown. i had formated the laptop several times but i got failed. Can u please find any solution of my problem please.

Have you installed the camera drivers? They can normally be downloaded free from the Compaq web site. Search for drivers for your machine and install the latest version.
