How to replace * with / in all formulas in an excel sheet

hi Guys,

does anyone of you know please how to replace the multiply sign with a divide sign in all of the formulas in an excel sheet? I could not figure it out on my own unfortunately.

Try this:

Ctrl H - Find and Replace
Then in the 1st field 'Find What:' put ~* and in the 2nd field 'Replace with:' put /

Using the tilde '~' as the 1st character in the field tells it that you are searching for the '*' rather than using it as a wildcard.

Thanks a lot, Ray. However after putting ~* in the Find field Excel does not recognize it unfortunately. :(

Is the dialog box rejecting it or is it simply not finding it in the sheet?
