Not starting up

Hello,
my acer aspireone min laptop is failing to start or display anything on the screen. it shows light on the power button but nothing on the display. please please assist me i have exams next week but all my notes are in it and its the only pc i rely on for studies. i can be so glad if you respond through my email, ***@***

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.

friend i tried that but nothing to display still. i dont know if am not properly following the steps, if there is another way please assist. regards

Will it start in safe mode?
Have you tried connecting to an external monitor?
Can you hear the hard disk or fan turn?

the hard disk do spin and the fan spins as well but connecting to the
external monitor, it displays nothing. i tried changing the vga cable
connecting to the external display but to no avail.please help

no it doesnt display anything so i cant know that it is on safe mode.

Ensure your video card is seated correctly, if you still don't get a signal, only a technician will be able to check the circuits.
