Hello,
Hope a help from you.
In our company,Yesterday i connect a HP Laserjet 400 M401 PCL6 printer to a computer on network..
and then i try to connect other computers to that printer... all are ok...
but every morning they have problem with printing... after they go to run--> ip address where the printer connects and giving user name and password(since it is in domain network it asks for password) and then try to connect or they have to restart their pc to print...
Please let me know.
as i am a new it technician in our company i didnt find the solution... what is the issue?
thanks in advance...

Thank you
is this a domain environment?

If you're connecting them to the printer via IP address, is the IP address of the PC changing?

Why cant you connect to the hostname instead?

Have you given those users permissions on the share of the printer?

Thank you, kieferschild 1
