Hello patches408,
Can you give me additional information regarding your issue, please? Can you hear a sound of the fan or the hard drive spinning? Does any light blink out when press the power button?
If your laptop neither makes any sound nor the light is blinking than, I'm afraid, your motherboard has failed and needs to be replaced or the power supply is damaged and not giving electricity. You need to bring it t? ? technician to check it out.
