Hello,

I'm trying to set-up an automated macro that will cause a row to be inserted when a cell value is changed. I have a sheet formated in the following way:

a row of text,
then a blank row,
then a 2nd blank row.

What I want to do is have a row inserted above the 2nd blank row whenever the cell in column B of the row above it goes from empty to having any sort of text. which would produce the following outcome:

original row of text
row with text entered in cell B2
newly inserted blank row
2nd blank row.

I have never used macros before, but I thought I would see if I could find this answer here in an effort to automate this workbook a bit.

Thank you
