Hello! So when I plug my speaker or earphones to my pc, it says 'not plugged in' . I tried to restart the pc, unplug and plug the audio devices, but it's still not working. What should I do? BTW, I really don't update my audio driver or what do you call that, since 2010, so after 5 years this was the first time it happened, so I don't think it's the problem. Or it is? Please help me. And sorry for my bad english.

Hello,
First you have to update the new audio driver for your pc then you will successfully access your speaker and earphones...
Choose suitable driver of your motherboard model..

Do you know how to update the drivers manually? As in I'll just download the latest driver then update it?

Dear gasj,
Right click-->my computer-->manage-->device manager--> under audio option--> right click and press update driver it ask for the driver where you download...
for ex: if you download the driver at c: browse for c: and then the driver you download and press next...
Hope this helps..
