Often failed pen drives cause an erroneous "write protect" error in Windows. Ninety percent of the time the drive is broken and needs to be replaced.

Hey luckysree. Unfortunately @xpcman is right, but there are a couple of methods which you could still try, before you pronounce it dead. I don't know what exactly you've tried, but here's a link which might prove helpful: https://www.wikihow.com/Disable-Write-Protection
Other than that you could also try some of the formatting tools, offered by some manufacturers for their devices, to see if you're able to format the USB flash drive with one of them.
