Respected Sir,

I am a new comer here. Recently I had stated a personal Network in my own house for study of my kids. Very often they forgot to shutdown their machine & got sleep. So, I have to attend their room to follow their position. So I like to shutdown & Boot their computers from my computer. Can any body like to instruct me how to do in through my LAN. I had configured all the unit with an IP address. I am not so educated in this matter. I tried from my little knowledge.

Please help me. With most of thanks.

Hello,

Try this 1

All the PC's should be in LAN connection. Check if you are able to ping

the other computer from your PC.

Click on Start --> In search box, type cmd and press Enter.

"Command Prompt" will be opened. Now enter the below command.

ping <IP Address of other PC> --> Press Enter.

Example: If the other PC IP address is 192.168.1.32

ping 192.168.1.32 --> Press Enter.

Let us know if you are able to get reply messages.

Good Luck
