Hello,
Pc stats: intel core2duo processor
ram 2gb
It shutdown automatically after few minutes. so i replaced the windows7 with windows 8.1 but the problem remained same. I tried changing smps, cleaning ram but no any change. I got this problem even as soon as i formated my pc with windows 8.1 . what might be the solution.

Hello,
Try this 1
First make sure that the issue of automatic shutdown is not because of
overheating.
Open the cabinet --> Remove the dust --> Carefully remove the heat
sink from the CPU and clean the CPU Fan--> Remove the old thermal
compound from the CPU and from the heat sink --> Apply a little new
thermal compound in the middle of the CPU and place the heat sink back
properly.
Make sure that you have removed the dust from the CPU Fan and Heat
sink. Also make sure that your CPU FAN is working.
Good Luck
