Black screen on laptop

Hello,

My screen goes black with a _ at top left and nothing else after bios screen .
I have tried removing battery and pressing power button for sometime and connecting back power source to no avail please kindly respond to what the problem maybe?

The BIOS screen or the manufacturer's LOGO screen?

I suggest you have a local PC repair shop do a diagnostic since it will take "hand on" access to determine the problem.

I mean to say that it was manufacturer's logo

I even tried booting a USB but get the same black screen after doing that
