There is 2 thing...
1) You have to make sure that your wireless network is not disabled..to make it enable go to my network place and select the wireless network icon and enable it by right clicking.
2)Make sure your wifi hardware of your pc (In case of laptop) is also enabled,sometimes in laptops we have to activate it with some special key or Function key+specified key..(Like my is Fn+F11)
Rest of the things are easy...just make sure you are connected.
