Balck/Dead Display

Hello,

I have a Sony Vaio laptop (VPCEB15GB). I was working fine. Last night suddenly the display became turned off. I thought it turned into sleep mode. But I realise the HDD & fan is working. So I connect HDMI cable with my LED TV & the laptop is working fine except the display.

So please help me to fix it myself.

I doubt you can fix it yourself. It's probably a hardware problem with the backlight and/or the screen. Either of these parts require an experienced PC tech to repair. I suggest you have a local repair shop take a look at it.
