Cant format pendrive

my 8 gb Kingston pen-drive m also try C:\>format J: /q
Insert new disk for drive J:
and press ENTER when ready...
The type of the file system is RAW.
This method but error is
invalid media or track 0 bad-disk unusable

Hi Uma,

When you enter Disk Management, the file format appears as RAW? This means that the file system can not be properly recognized and the system reads it as RAW, which may indicate drive damage. Formatting a RAW pendrive could be really hard. I strongly recommend you to try the pendrive on another PC or using a Linux Live CD.
