Hello,
I have a hp 2000 with a broken screen, I hooked up my desk top moniter but it doesn't come on. How do I fix it?

did you connect your external monitor to the laptop through vga cable also you connect the power cable to the monitor?

Did you connect your external monitor through the VGA cable from laptop?
Also did you connect the power cable to the monitor?

Yes to both. The external monitor was working before but not no more .

Is your external monitor is in good condition?.. Try to swap your RAM and reseat it again!
