VLC problems

Hello,

My VLC gave me the following message: "OpenGL acceleration is not supported on your Mac. Your Mac lacks Quartz Extreme acceleration, which is required for video output. It will still work, but much slower and with possibly unexpected results." ... You can still hear the audio of the movie, you just can't see the video itself. This only became a problem yesterday, it worked perfectly the day before ...

You do have VLC for Mac don't you?

Yes I do... I'm just not too sure if it is only a VLC problem. My youtube videos on safari does not work but it does work on chrome... I only downloaded chrome after this problem occurred. My DVD's also does not seem to work.
