My hp laptop has a black screen how can I fix this

Hello,
I bought a hp laptop and within a month it starts telling me I have all these viruses and it was going to cost me $300 to get rid of them.so I cut it off until I had money to get it fixed...when I cut it back on it cut on.with a hp sign but the screen syays black..so how can I get it fixed....if all it has is a black screen? Please help...

Hi

What to you mean by "cut it off" and cut it back"? I never heard of such expressions in English for a computer.

1. What is the model of your HP laptop?

2. Will your laptop boot in safe mode with networking?

3.What is your operating system?

4. Did you pay the $300? To whom?
