Unable to find some files under pictures folder

Hello,
I was trying to set the attributes for pictures folder and clicked on Ok to "Apply changes to this folder, subfolders and files", when it was processing I clicked on cancel. Now I am unable to see some of the files/folders/pics. Please help.
